When a company says collection after 12 noon you would think that means after 12 noon. But not with screwfix it's when we sort it out and we will text you. Don't put after 12 noon if it not true. Been sitting in motor for 12 noon only to told go away and wait for text. Not great at all
I wish I read the reviews before ordering, i ordered in advance like the website says, nextday delivery takes 5 business days, why say nextday if it's not, that should be illegal, false advertisement just to catch people out and make there work life as hard as possible, not a good company at all, my item is already late and iv had no email with any confirmation only that they have taken my money, no tracking number no delivery update, literally just we have your money and that's it, avoid screwfix as if its covid
Ordered wrong sink. Called customer service repeatedly for the last three days to arrange for a return. Been told someone was on his way, but nobody ever showed up. Trying again but losing hope

Customer service is really poor, waited fours day for a delivery and organised door and window fitting around the delivery, one item was missing from the order so i called screwfix (10 minutes waiting) and was told I needed to call parcel force. I called parcel force (20min waiting) was told that they never received the 5th item.
After several back and forth calls with me getting frustrated waiting every time, I got cut off when I asked to speak to a manager. It was at this point I became incensed and called back for a refund.
I could write an epic about what was said and not said but what was evident is that the reps dont know how parcel deliveries work, cant be bothered to make the calls on behalf of the customer and feel confident enough to hang up on them when they're annoyed, (no bad language or threats).
After years and thousands of pounds being spent at Screwfix it ends today, low cost they are but the measure of a good company is how they deal with problems, they could contact Axminster tools who could teach them a thing or two.

thanks for the bog standard reply that you hope will satisfy readers of these bad reviews. I suspect it wont because they all could be copied and pasted.
You have the order number, you could listen to the call logs and view the timelines then come back with a considered response stating what you propose to make sure this doesn't happen to another customer, that I would suggest impress people reading these reviews that you actually care, take effort to investigate and put things right.
I purchased 2 boxes of screws but had to wait until one box was delivered to my local store...(I had to use steel screws) I was told they would be delivered the next day but would get a text...I waited 3 days before ringing customer services to be told the item had been sat instore for 3 days..fuming...not much of an appology from counter staff in st Andrews, Hull. Dissapointed as had to let customer down.
Just purchased an item via their click and collect service, the service is outstanding. ordered, informed that the product was available for colection within 10 minutes.
One of those few companies which are able to keep a local presence and compete with the larger online stores. Always great service at screwfix South Shields.
Have been trying to contact customer service for weeks have sent emails but no reply. They advertise tools on their site that are no longer available. I have been looking since Christmas and everytime I try to buy it's out of stock and if you go down the list nothing is available. I asked in store to be told they're discontinued but yet again still being sent through as special offers. Shall be taking my money elsewhere.
So disappointed with dealing with Screwfix, I buy a lot over quite an area. We look on website, search for stock availability and order from stores to collect. Only after paying to be told it is not’ available in store now’ as stated prior to purchase but will be 24hrs. Then ends up being over 48hrs! When we check the stores that state they have stock they don’t. So feed up with extra journeys and wasted time. If they simple stated prior to taking our money it would be longer we could source elsewhere, but evidence proves they lie to get the sale, not the way we like to do business. This is the third time in two weeks. We will not use again.

I placed one order on 23 12 2020 and i never received i sent lot of emails but nobody call me back was 90 pounds products valued
